This is the return of a very profound race effort by Mercury. (The Kenz & Leslie history is fascinating research.) Doing a model of this famous drag car is a must for NHRA enthusiasts. The car was featured in several magazines so the detailing is easy to document. The kit is an honest representation of period funny car chassis & body set-ups of the day. Tires and wheels are also faithful copies of the real thing. Don't forget that there was another Cougar, just as famous, that can be modelled with a change of decals.
