First flown in July, 1937, the Focke-Wulf Fw 200 was among the best long-range aircraft in the world. During WWII, the "C-4 Condor" variant evolved into a bomber and sea reconnaissance plane for the Luftwaffe. Some of its most important uses included tracking convoys and transmitting enemy coordinates to German submarines. Unique features found on the C-4 version included 13 mm MG131 machine guns and FuG Rostock search radar. Although 275 were built, only one complete model exists today. It is currently undergoing restoration at the Technical Museum in Berlin.
