Kennedy (later President of the United States) in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Kennedy's actions to save his surviving crew after the sinking of the PT-109 made him a war hero, which proved helpful in his political career.

An electric motor is included in the kit (but the 6 "D" batteries needed are not). The gun mounts are moveable and the crew are included. Glue and paint are not included.

Model was good, instructions poor with numerous mistakes and numbers not matching. Lindberg needs a proof reader!

This will be my second large scale PT 109 by Lindberg I have built, which is a treat for me. Since this large scale model is impossible to find. Building the PT 109 has lots of features that will keep you interested for days to come. Not to mention a WW II icon that led the way to todays fast attack boats around the world.
