Item Description

USS Yorktown (CV/CVA/CVS-10) is one of 24 Essex-class aircraft carriers built during World War II for the United States Navy. She is named after the Battle of Yorktown of the American Revolutionary War, and is the fourth U.S. Navy ship to bear the name. Initially to have been named Bon Homme Richard, she was renamed Yorktown while under construction to commemorate USS Yorktown (CV-5), lost at the Battle of Midway in June 1942. Yorktown was commissioned in April 1943, and participated in several campaigns in the Pacific Theater of Operations, earning 11 battle stars and the Presidential Unit Citation.

Quality Control IS NOT understood at Lindberg. You get the whole casting tree. You have to cut the branches apart to get to the parts.

#15 Quad 40MM Gun- Flash is between gun barrels. Dirty mold or mold not flush.

#Sea Plane- I had 17 planes with casting ejection pin Flash. The ejection pins need replaced.

Step 1- Motor Launch What are the part number? (Hint 55) Why is not a location pin hole for this part. Way too many parts are without location pin holes.

Step 4- Part 17 - Left Sponson Tub- Should have installed Quad 40MM Gun in Tub before placing on ship. Lindberg wants you to install this gun in Step 9. Tough to do...

Lower Aircraft Deck- A CARDBOARD PRINTED SHEET ARE YOU KIDDING ME? To much money for this JUNK.....
