It's nice to see this highly sought after kit reissued. I had the pleasure of building this kit when it first came out. Still on my shelf. This time around, not bad. The copy I got had a lot of flash on all the small parts. Tires, (as with the Baker reissue),have a very oily, greasy, residue. I used hand cleaner to remove it. All major body parts are Petty Blue. No clear body. The brake drums are missing the studs that hold the wheels in place. Just the Wheel Retaining Pin(part 55). You will have to drill out the rear axle, and front king pins to mount the wheels properly with the pin. The engine sits a bit too high in the front. If you build it as instructions say, the hood won't close flat. Trim the legs a bit on part 215.The inner panels(part315),have to be heated a bit to conform to the C Post.Forget parts 223,106,107.Unless you plan on opening the trunk, you won't see them.A lot of the nice chrome has to be stripped for paint.Speaking of paint, both Testors and Tamiya have colors to match Petty Blue. Powerslide has stepped up, and have produced decals for every variant of both the Petty car,( with all the pin striping), and the #5 Jim Stacy/Neil Bonnet white Dodge (which is the one I built). With a model this size, just take your time, don't rush, fix a few minor flaws, and you will have a very nice shelf model that will stand out
