I consider myself a good modeler, but this kit is junk! There are flaws in the body panels. The chassis is very crude especially the crosspiece in the engine bay with 2 holes for screws? Seems like this may have been a promo model or something assembled with screws. The worst part is the fit of the front bumper and grille. The red plastic tail lights are too thick and don't fit the openings. I finished it, but considered throwing it in the garbage, but it was my wife's first car so it sits on the top shelf in my office where no one can see it very well. Someone needs to release a decent kit of this iconic muscle car! Not sure if I'll ever build another MPC/AMT kit again!

Read the reviews, figured I might be able to fix some of the issues with this model. What a friggin waste of time. DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL. There is NOTHING you can do to fix it! Buy the Revell 1966 kit instead and change the rear lights, front chrome, and emblems to turn it into a 67. What an AWFUL model.

This kit comes with a lot of parts and flash a lot of fit issues and the chassis sucks however could kit bash it with a revell kit like the 67 prostreet chevelle and the drag gear and a little sanding filing filler and paint if you know what your doing you can have cool looking model.

By far the worst model Ive ever purchased. So much excess plastic on the parts, loose parts in the bag and the worst set of instructions Ive ever seen. Never again will I buy a MPC product again. Revell is the way to go. Stay away from MPC!!

I will never buy another mpc model again. I hate the way it looked right from the box. If I cant get a model made in the usa I will quit putting the models together altogether. very substandard model

This was the first and last model kit Ill purchase from MPC. The fit and finish of the product pieces was unacceptable. Examples: the front bumper wasnt even close to fitting properly, the rear taillights wont even fit into place, and many more. The plastic molds you use at the factory needs to be inspected, lots of excess plastic on finish pieces. I probably wont even be able to complete assembly. Ill stick to Revell products.

The 67 GTO, if not the 69, was the high water mark of the muscle car age. Larger than its rival and sister, the Camaro, the GTO nevertheless was a great drag car package. It defined the grumble of muscle car cool for a generation. Although typical of older kit design, this kit gives you what you need to make a great GTO. The deep dished turbine custom wheels are unique and lovely on the car, giving it a brute look.
